- Write-up: Finnegan is a Yogi x Tango son with excellent breed type, from his beautiful head to his thick, muscular tail. His movement is clean and effortless. He is a 23" tall, 70 pound balanced, moderate, short-coupled, athletic dog with good bone and muscling and a correct, shining, "wash and wear" coat, straight with ample feathering. Finn has loads of drive and enjoys hunting pheasants while at the same time training in utility and VST. He is extremely trainable and enthusiastic, shows a consistent desire to please, and has a reliable on-off switch, making him a pleasure to live with. Best of all, he is sound, healthy, and possesses a proper golden temperament. Finnegan is a delightful, funny, devoted dog with a lot to offer the breed who is proving himself to be a true multi-purpose golden, following in his talented sire and dam's paw prints! Accomplishments to date include: BOW from 9-12 puppy class / multiple IABCA BOBs and group placements / dual TD and TDX (all on first attempts) by age 2 / seven 1st placements in Novice and Open obedience / CDX first time out earned in one weekend with 3 straight legs / multiple Rally 100s / 2006 Front and Finish #9 Sporting Group Novice A national ranking / four consecutive JH legs and two WCs / GRCA Versatility Excellent Certificate at age 4. Out of a variety of bitches, Finn is producing lovely, athletic, and biddable puppies with correct balance, coat, bone, and pigment -- many of whom are training/showing in multiple venues or as service/guide dogs and breeders for respected service dog organizations. As further proof of his versatility, Finnegan is now a GRCA Outstanding Sire with qualifying get who have earned titles in conformation, tracking, agility, obedience, rally, and field. At age 15, "Foo" enjoys robust good health and vigor, clear eyes, but is retired from natural breeding, however, frozen is available.
